When you really think about it, it makes sense that some celebrities would look like each other. After all, if you’re a movie star, famous singer or a model, chances are you look pretty good, and good-looking people tend to look like one another. Right? For proof, look no further than this list of celebrities who look so much alike you’ll do a double take. Whether it’s the shape of their face, the color of their hair, or the way they smile – these celebs are true doppelgangers.

Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are an incredible case of celebrity lookalikes. Seriously – just look at them! It’s incredible that these two aren’t the same person, or at least long lost cousins.

(Left) Pinterest // @imdbofficial | (Right) Facebook // Maƴ iṯ ße

On the left of this image is Javier Bardem (we think), Spanish actor and star of No Country For Old Men. On the right, is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, American actor and star of Grey’s Anatomy. These two are constantly mistaken for one another, and we can certainly see why.

Emma Mackey and Margot Robbie

Next up is a pair of stunning actresses – Australian Margot Robbie, and English Emma Mackey. The instant Emma Mackey appeared on screens, people couldn’t help but point out her incredible resemblance to the I, Tonya star.

(Left) Instagram // @love_emma.mackey | (Right) Facebook // Bret Joseph Muraski

When asked about her similarity to the A-list actress, Mackey responded, “I hope that people will see past the physical aspects of my person and focus on my job as opposed to my looks, if that’s okay with you all.” Fair enough!

Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain

Here’s another pair of celebrity lookalikes that truly make us shake our head in amazement. How are these two people not related? How are they not a face swap of one another? Here we have The Help star Jessica Chastain, and Jurassic World actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

(Left) Instagram // @brycedhoward | (Right) Facebook // Stéphane Lévesque

These two are well aware of their physical similarity and have even looked in the mirror together while working on the same movie to compare their twin-like similarity. Their conclusion? “Okay, we look alike.”

Will Ferrell and Chad Smith

Comedian Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith have raised thousands of dollars for charity because of their physical resemblance. The pair appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wearing the same outfit, and went on to have a drum-off. Since then, the pair have reprised their act for several benefit shows.

(Left) Pinterest // @infoseemedia | (Right) Facebook // Chad Smith’s Bombastic Meatbats // Rich Saputo Photography

Despite their relationship, Chad Smith still stormed off stage at a concert when a fan yelled “Will Ferrell” at him from the audience.

Tiffani Thiessen and Alexandra Daddario

Here’s another pair of actresses that look strikingly similar. On the left is Alexandria Daddario, known for her roles in Baywatch and We Summon the Darkness. On the right is Tiffani Thiessen, best known for playing Kelly Kapowski in Saved By the Bell.

(Left) Shutterstock // DFree | (Right) Shutterstock // DFree

Much like Margot Robbie and Emma Mackey, these two look like the younger and older versions of each other. With their shiny brunette locks and heart shaped face, there’s no denying that these two women look just like each other.

Scarlett Johansson and Amber Heard

We had never noticed that actresses Scarlett Johansson and Amber Heard looked so similar, but once you start comparing images, it’s undeniable. Of course, both of the stars have blonde hair and a similar frame, but they also share the same jaw line and bone structure.

(Left) Shutterstock // Tinseltown | (Right) Pinterest // @theskincareedit

In this shot, where both of the A-listers wear red lipstick, Scarlett Johansson and Amber Heard look like they could easily be sisters. Just wondering – could someone write a movie where these two are crime-fighting twins?

Jeff Bridges and Kurt Russell

Here we go again – two celebrities that look freakishly alike. On the left is Academy Award winning actor Jeff Bridges, known for his roles in True Grit, The Big Lebowski and Iron Man. Bridges comes from a prominent acting family, and is considered one of the best of his generation.

(Left) Shutterstock // DFree | (Right) Shutterstock // Kathy Hutchins

On the right is actor Kurt Russel, known for his roles in Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Fast and the Furious franchise. Both actors have admitted to signing autographs for the other.

Zooey Deschanel and Katy Perry

Another classic pair of celebrity lookalikes is actress Zooey Deschanel and singer Katy Perry. When the “Roar” singer first appeared on the scene, people couldn’t help but point out her similarity to the New Girl actress.

(Left) Instagram // @zooeydeschanel | (Right) Pinterest // @byrdiebeauty

In a conversation together, Deschanel remembered, “When I met you I was so relieved, because you’re so pretty. You never know when people say you look like somebody, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s gorgeous. Thank you.” The actress later appeared in one of Perry’s videos.

Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Lopez

When Melissa Gorga first appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans were taken by the swirling family drama going on around her. However, once that settled, we started to notice that the reality star is a dead ringer for Jennifer Lopez.

(Left) Shutterstock // SD Mack | (Right) Pinterest // @POPSUGAR

Indeed, Lopez is Gorga’s style icon, and the two even snapped a picture together at the premiere for J.Lo’s movie Second Act. On another occasion, Melissa and Joe Gorga ate cake with the superstar after her half time show at the Super Bowl.

Tom Hardy and Logan Marshall-Green

Amusingly, American actor Logan Marshall-Green does have a twin brother, but it’s not English actor Tom Hardy. These two look incredibly similar, partly because of their facial hair in this image, but also due to their expression and facial features.

(Left)Shutterstock // Featureflash Photo Agency | (Right) Pinterest // @Ashley Dennehy

On the left is Logan Marshall-Green, known for his roles in 24 and The O.C. On the right is Tom Hardy, known for roles in Black Hawk Down and The Revenant. If we added Marshall-Green’s twin brother, we’d have three Tom Hardys!

Sienna Miller and Mollie King

Our next set of celebrity lookalikes are English celebs Sienna Miller and Mollie King. These two look very similar, starting with their blonde wavy hair and striking facial features. On the left we have Sienna Miller, an American-English actress known for her roles in Factory Girl and Alfie.

(Left) Facebook // Sienna Miller | (Right) Instagram // @M O L L I E K I N G

On the right is Mollie King, member of girl group The Saturdays, and former The X Factor contestant. As well as looking physically alike, these two also have similar taste in fashion and beauty.

Alicia Silverstone and Maggie Lawson

Actresses Alicia Silverstone and Maggie Lawson look so similar that people watch entire movies featuring one of them while thinking they’re watching the other. Indeed, we can’t look at this image and accept that we aren’t looking at two images of Alicia Silverstone.

(Left) Shutterstock // Tinseltown | (Right) Pinterest // @twitter

Both of these actresses starting working as children, and both are animal rights activists. Of course, Silverstone is most famous for her role as Cher in Clueless, while Lawson is known for her role as Detective Jules O’Hara in Psych.

Josh Holloway and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

With this next pair, we’re willing to admit that Josh Holloway and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau look like they’re related, but we love each of them too much to not be able to tell the difference. On the left we have Josh Holloway, or the lovable but rough around the edges Sawyer from Lost.

(Left) Pinterest // @alphacoders | (Right) Shutterstock // Kathy Hutchin

On the right, we have Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, otherwise known as redeemed knight Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones. We’d be more than happy if these two were cast together.

Amy Adams and Isla Fisher

There must be something about red heads, because with Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain, and now Amy Adams and Isla Fisher, it’s practically impossible to tell the difference. These two are another case where you could watch one in a movie and not realize until the end that you were actually watching the other.

(Left) Facebook // Dave Mathews | (Right) Shutterstock // Tinseltown

On the left is Isla Fisher, known for her roles in Confessions of a Shopaholic and Definitely, Maybe. On the right is Amy Adams, known for her roles in Enchanted and Arrival.

Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley

As with Amber Heard and Scarlett Johansson, we hadn’t ever noticed the physical resemblance between actresses Natalie Portman and Keira Knightly. But fear not, other people certainly did. In fact, a 14 year old Kiera Knightly played Portman’s double, Sabé, in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

(Left) Instagram // @natalieportman | (Right) Pinterest // @britishvogue

With their small frames, dainty faces and similar hairstyles, these two actresses look undeniably alike. However, Knightly is four inches taller, while Portman is four years older.

Claire Danes and Clémence Poésy

Next up is a set of blonde celebrity lookalikes that really look like each other. On the left is American actress Claire Danes, known for her roles in My So-Called Life, Romeo + Juliet, and Homeland. On the right is French actress and model Clémence Poésy, known for her roles in the Harry Potter franchise, 127 Hours, and In Bruges.

(Left) Shutterstock // Featureflash Photo Agency | (Right) Pinterest // @emscoop

Both actresses have the same shade of blonde hair framing the same shaped face. Even their eyes look the same!

Carrie Underwood and Emily Osment

Amazingly, not only do celebrity doppelgangers Carrie Underwood and Emily Osment look the same, but they also share the same birthday! What are the chances? Both women were born on Match 10th, though Underwood was born 9 years before Osment.

(Left) Facebook // Bo Ely | (Right) Pinterest // @infoseemedia

Just to be clear, on the left side of this picture we have Carrie Underwood, country music sensation. On the right is singer and actress Emily Osment, known for her roles in Hannah Montana, Almost Family, and Young & Hungry.

Amanda Peet and Lake Bell

Just take a look at these two. With their tousled brown hair, heavy brows and bemused expression, celebrities Amanda Peet and Lake Bell look incredibly similar. On the left of this image is Amanda Peet (we think), an American actress known for acting in The Whole Nine Yards and Something’s Gotta Give.

(Left) Shutterstock // Kathy Hutchins | (Right) Pinterest // @womenshealthmag

On the right we have Lake Bell, American actress, director and screenwriter. Bell is known for starring in Boston Legal, It’s Complicated, and for voicing Poison Ivy in Harley Quinn.

Lea Michele and Idina Menzel

Lea Michele and Idina Menzel look so similar that Menzel contacted Ryan Murphy to suggest that she play Michele’s mother on Glee. That was too good an offer to turn down, particularly because both actresses are also New Yorkers and belting sopranos.

(Left) Instagram // @leamichele | (Right) Facebook // Drew Altizer Photography

Both Michele and Menzel started singing at age 15 and both ended up on Broadway. Of course, Menzel originated the role of Elphaba in Wicked, and voiced Queen Elsa in Frozen. It’s a match made in doppelganger heaven!

Eva Mendes and Ashley Graham

Actress and model Eva Mendes bears a striking similarity to model and TV host Ashley Graham. As you can see, both women have almond shaped brown eyes, a small nose, and plump lips. Add to that their coloring, frame and hair style, and the women are very difficult to differentiate between.

(Left) Facebook // Pop Culture Pros | (Right) Shutterstock // Debby Wong

On the left is plus-size model Ashley Graham, a proponent of the body positivity movement. On the right is actress and model Eva Mendes, known for her roles in Training Day, and The Women.

Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill

When we look at this image of actors Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill, we wonder if there’s a factory somewhere churning out dapper movie stars with piercing eyes. Seriously, could we get a tour or something?

(Left) Pinterest // @celebitchy | (Right) Pinterest // @POPSUGAR

These two look incredibly alike, right down to their pale blue eyes. Here, on the left is English actor Henry Cavill, known for playing Superman in a range of DC movies. On the right, we have American actor Matt Bomer, known for his roles in All My Children, and American Horror Story.

Zoe Saldana and Thandie Newton

Our next pair of celebrity lookalikes each also have another lookalike. Not only are actresses Zoe Saldana and Thandie Newton celebrity doppelgangers, but they each also get confused with actresses Kerry Washington and Jada Pinkett Smith. In fact, Saldana’s own mother confused her with Newton on a movie poster.

(Left) Shutterstock // DFree | (Right) Pinterest // @boxofjoes

For the record, on the left is English actress Thandie Newton, known for roles in Westworld and Beloved, and on the right is American actress Zoe Saldana, known for roles in Avatar and Star Trek.

Nina Dobrev and Victoria Justice

Actresses Nina Dobrev and Victoria Justice are well aware of their physical resemblance, so much so that they took a picture together to post online. With their sharp jawline, long brunette locks and dazzling smile, these women could definitely pass as each other’s sisters.

(Left) Facebook // Stéphane Lévesque | (Right) Pinterest // @victoriajustice

As far as we can tell, on the left is Canadian actress Nina Dobrev, known for her role in The Vampire Diaries. On the right, is American actress Victoria Justice, known for her role on Zoey 101.

Portia de Rossi and Drea de Matteo

Celebrity doppelgangers Portia de Rossi and Drea de Matteo share more than just Italian names. With their fierce expressions, chiseled jawlines and strong brows, these two bear more than a passing resemblance to each other.

Left) Instagram // @portiaderossi | (Right) Pinterest // @CelebrityLifestyleUS

In this image, American actress Drea de Matteo is on the left, while Australian-American actress Portia de Rossi is on the right. De Matteo is known for her roles in Desperate Housewives and The Sopranos. De Rossi is known for starring in Ally McBeal and Arrested Development.

Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms

With Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms, there’s a shared comedic energy as well as a shared physical appearance. While fans of these two might be able to tell them apart easily, others just see two brown haired men with affable expressions and similar eyebrows.

(Left) Pinterest // @imdbofficial | (Right) Shutterstock // s_bukley

Jason Sudeikis (left) is an American actor and writer that’s starred in Horrible Bosses and Ted Lasso. Meanwhile, Ed Helms (right) is an American actor and musician known for his roles in The Office and The Hangover trilogy.

Carey Mulligan and Michelle Williams

Again, with actresses Carey Mulligan and Michelle Williams we have another pair of celebrities whose physical resemblance had completely passed us by. However, it’s absolutely undeniable that these two pixie cut fans look alike. With their dainty faces and soulful expressions, these two could easily pass as family.

(Left) Pinterest // @dailymail | (Right) Pinterest // @cosmopolitanuk

Carey Mulligan (left) is an English actress known for roles in Pride & Prejudice and The Great Gatsby. Michelle Williams (right) is an American actress known for her roles in Dawson’s Creek and Brokeback Mountain.

Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg

We’ll admit that we once sat through all of 2001’s Planet of the Apes thinking we were watching Matt Damon (right), only to discover years later that we’d been enjoying the work of Mark Wahlberg (left) instead. This is a pretty common mistake, so much so that the actors have an agreement to be as polite as possible to fans who mistake them for one another.

(Left) Shutterstock // s_bukley | (Right) Shutterstock // Featureflash Photo Agency

These two have even acted in the same movie – 2006’s The Departed. But why didn’t they play brothers?

Hilary Swank and Jennifer Garner

We can see why people have a hard time telling the difference between actresses Hilary Swank and Jennifer Garner. Each woman has a strong jaw, a wide smile, and a face that can sell plenty of movie tickets. Again, these two have been mistaken for each other, and both face each other’s excited fans.

(Left) Pinterest // @glittermagazine| (Right) Facebook // Sergey Prosvetov

Of course, Jennifer Garner (left) is known for Alias and 13 Going on 30, whereas Hilary Swank (right) is known for Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby.

Emma Stone and Melinda Clarke

We’re back to the red heads with our next set of celebrity lookalikes. Academy Award winner Emma Stone certainly bears a strong resemblance to American actress Melinda Clarke. In fact, these two could play a convincing mother daughter duo.

(Left) Instagram // @emmstone | (Right) Facebook // Film & Serie TV

Emma Stone is known for roles in The Help and La La Land, while Melinda Clarke is known for starring in Days of Our Lives and The O.C. Interestingly, Emma Stone has admitted to being a natural blonde, while some images of Clarke show her with darker locks.

Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly

Check these two out! Even when we know we’re looking at Minka Kelly, our brains can’t quite grasp that we aren’t actually seeing Leighton Meester. These two certainly know that they look alike, and actually took this photograph standing next to each other.

(Left) Facebook // Stéphane Lévesque | (Right) Facebook // American Fitness Fashion Magazinee

On the left is American actress and model Minka Kelly, known for roles in Friday Night Lights and Titans. On the right is American actress Leighton Meester, most well-known for playing Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl.

Elizabeth Banks and Chelsea Handler

Actress Elizabeth Banks has admitted that she pretends to be comedian Chelsea Handler when approached by confused fans. And we can absolutely understand why. Though Banks is also often mistaken for actress Reese Witherspoon, she definitely shares the same coloring and face shape as Handler.

(Left) Shutterstock // Kathy Hutchins | (Right) Shutterstock // Featureflash Photo Agency

In this image, Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks is on the left, while Chelsea Lately host Chelsea Handler is on the right. These celebrity doppelgangers are only one year apart in age so it’s no surprise that people get confused.

Helen Hunt and Leelee Sobieski

We fell in love with actress Leelee Sobieski back when she played Drew Barrymore’s geeky best friend in Never Been Kissed. We didn’t notice then that the American artist and retired actress looked just like a young Helen Hunt. Now, it’s all we can see.

(Left) Pinterest // @people | (Right) Pinterest // @Oprah

Leelee Sobieski is on the left of this picture, and her angular face and flowing hair make her look just like Hunt. On the right is Hunt herself, an Academy Award winning American actress.

Zach Braff and Dax Shepard

Actors Zach Braff and Dax Shepard look so alike that Shepard’s wife, actress Kristen Bell faceswapped their faces and struggled to tell the difference. The resemblance is uncanny, from the scruffy haircut to the goofy expression – it really is wild that these two are different people.

(Left) Shutterstock // DFree | (Right) Shutterstock // Kathy Hutchins

On the left is Scrubs star and American actor and director Zach Braff, while on the right is Parenthood star and American actor and writer Dax Shepard. Personally, we don’t understand why these two haven’t written a vehicle for themselves yet.

Ruth Wilson and Michelle Monaghan

Not only do Ruth Wilson and Michelle Monaghan look alike, but they clearly have the same taste in fashion too. In this picture, the women are both wearing the same floral midi skirt, and they’ve each paired it with a navy sweater. We smell straight off the runway.

(Left) Pinterest // @wallpapersmug | (Right) Facebook // CelebsKart

Here, on the right is American actress Michelle Monaghan, known for starring in the Mission Impossible series. On the left is English actress Ruth Wilson, known for playing the title role in 2006’s Jane Eyre.

Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett

Finally, we turn to the regal Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett. Much like with Jason Sudeikis and Ed Helms, fans of these two will be able to tell them apart, but they share a very similar energy. With their small faces, wise expressions and colorings, these two look like they grew up in the same home.

(Left) Pinterest // @imdbofficial | (Right)Shutterstock // Andrea Raffin

On the left is Tilda Swinton, an Academy Award winning Scottish actress, while on the right is Cate Blanchett, an Academy Award winning Australian actress. Together, they make a fierce pair.

30+ Celebrities Who Look Way Younger Than They Actually Are

These Celebrities Look Way Younger Than They Actually Are

Aging is a funny thing, as time is an unfortunate foe to some people and a great friend to others. These celebs definitely fall into that latter category. Of course, they have access to procedures, treatments, and editing software that most people don’t. That being said, it’s still unclear whether these stars are actually aging or if they’re just frozen in time.

Rita Moreno – Born in 1931

You may be looking at this photo, thinking “Well, she doesn’t look that young.” However, we’d like to remind you that Rita Moreno is 91 years old! We truly hope we’ll look at least half that good when we’re her age.

Photo by Kevin Mazur // Getty Images

When asked her secret, Rita confessed, “People don’t like to hear what I have to say, [but] it’s bare minimum.” The actress simply keeps her face clean, moisturizes, and wears sunscreen. Apparently, it’s that easy!

Vanessa Williams – Born in 1963

59-year-old Vanessa Williams isn’t afraid to admit that her youthful appearance isn’t 100% natural. “My main focus is on skin tightening and collagen boosting. I’ve found that a combination of microcurrent therapy, Ultherapy, and Botox has been most effective for me.”

Twitter // @tvonetv

We really respect her honesty, because it helps create more normal beauty standards. Celebrities who pretend they haven’t had any work done are just promoting unattainable beauty goals. Thanks for keeping it real, Vanessa!

Jennifer Aniston – Born in 1969

We argue that Jennifer Aniston looks even better at 53 than she did in her 20s! Jennifer’s youthful glow is thanks to the focus she puts on her health. Rather than trying to look a certain way, or convince people she’s younger than she is, Aniston just wants to feel healthy.

Twitter // @DiscussingFilm

“For me, it’s more of the question of how do I take the best care of myself, physically and mentally? We can still thrive when we’re older, and that’s thanks to all the advancements in health, nutrition, technology, and science.”

John Stamos – Born in 1963

When 59-year-old John Stamos was asked how he maintains such a youthful appearance, the actor offered an entirely unhelpful but truly hilarious answer via a message to his younger self.

Twitter // @breakfasttv

“Hey, little John, you will have a fantastic life as long as you make sure you do one thing. Now on your eighteenth birthday, the Prince of Darkness […] will offer you eternal youth in exchange for your soul. Little John, I’m telling you right now… you take that deal, son.”

Jennifer Lopez – Born in 1969

If you want to look like Jennifer Lopez at 53 years old, all you have to do is follow her anti-aging tips (well, that and have great genes). Jennifer makes sure to get at least eight hours of sleep a night but prefers a full nine or ten.

Twitter // @PopCrave

She drinks a lot of water and eats plenty of fruits and vegetables. JLo refrains from drinking adult beverages and doesn’t use any products that could harm her lungs. She also avoids caffeine. Is it worth it? You tell us!

William Shatner – Born in 1931

Believe it or not, William Shatner is 91 years old! The actor has described aging as “terrifying” but has certain policies he keeps in place in order to manage his mental health. William advises people to “Keep active because your brain is affected by the rest of your body.”

Twitter // @from_years

Shatner always says “yes” to opportunities, challenges himself, and makes sure to get out of the house to spend time with his loved ones. In fact, one of his favorite activities is bicycling with his family.

Elijah Wood – Born in 1981

Elijah Wood has always looked young for his age, and nothing’s changed now that he’s 41 years old. While we have no evidence to support this, we do have a theory that being so uncontroversial has helped Elijah’s appearance.

Twitter // @ADSLBlog

Hear us out on this entirely non-scientific analysis: he’s less stressed than problematic celebrities because he doesn’t have to worry about doing damage control. Less stress equates to fewer wrinkles, meaning that he looks younger. See? Science!

Halle Berry – Born in 1966

56-year-old Halle Berry’s anti-aging advice is something we should all live by. “I refuse to become someone who just tries to hold onto a youthful face and not embrace what’s most important about being beautiful — how you live your life. […] The most beautiful people have something radiating inside.”

Twitter // @Royalty53553860

Have you ever met someone who maybe wasn’t the most conventionally attractive, but you thought they were beautiful? This is why — beauty is so much more than a pretty face.

Mario Lopez – Born in 1973

Mario Lopez works out like a 20-year-old — but he’s 49! The TV host says that he exercises for “sanity, not vanity,” proving that if you focus on your health, a youthful appearance will come naturally.

Twitter // @vegasnewsnow

“I think your health should be a top priority, because if you don’t have that, what does anything else matter? I want to just be healthy and be around as long as I can, to be able to be there for my family.”

Pharrell Williams – Born in 1973

Pharrell Williams might be 49 in this photo, but he looks exactly the same in every photo from the past 20 years, so you’ll have to just take our word for it. According to Pharrell, his youthful skin is due to exfoliating “like a narcissistic madman.”

Twitter // @ValaAfshar

The record producer washes his face regularly and drinks lots of water. He also credits his appearance to his dermatologist, which he recommends for those who can afford one, rather than relying on pharmacy skincare products.

Priyanka Chopra – Born in 1982

Priyanka Chopra might be 40 years old, but she certainly doesn’t look it! It’s also worth noting that her husband, Nick Jonas, is 10 years her junior, adding to Priyanka’s youthful energy by association.

Twitter // @PCsShagufta

Chopra’s been extremely honest and relatable in her aging journey. “My body has changed as I’ve gotten older, just as everyone’s body does, and I’ve had to adapt mentally as well with like, OK, this is what it looks like now.” We think you look perfect, Priyanka!

Chris Rock – Born in 1965

We’re not saying that Chris Rock looks like he’s 20 but he definitely doesn’t look like the 57 years old that he is! Part of aging well is preparing in advance. For example, you don’t want to wait for your body to start deteriorating before building an exercise routine.

Twitter // @cinestr3s

Exercise regularly so that when you do start to age, your body will be strong enough for it. Or, in Chris’s case, your body will be strong enough to withstand a slap from Will Smith.

Alyson Hannigan – Born in 1974

Alyson Hannigan might be 48 years old, but she’s frozen in her 20s in our minds. Most people know the actress for her work in American Pie and on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, both of which she was in her 20s while filming.

Twitter // @Disney_Wiki

Even in How I Met Your Mother, in which Hannigan was older, she was still only in her early 30s. Therefore, we’re psychologically incapable of seeing the actress as older than 35.

Neil Patrick Harris – Born in 1973

For those who are scared of getting older, 49-year-old Neil Patrick Harris is here to tell us that we don’t have to be. “I honestly feel better than I’ve felt in my whole life.”

Twitter // @OfficialHIMYM

“As I’m aging, I’m feeling like I am more and more comfortable in my skin and my posture, and my body. I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life, but in more practical terms — as opposed to ‘gym body’ for others.”

Reese Witherspoon – Born in 1976

At 46 years old, Reese Witherspoon is just now starting to see the effects of how she cared for her skin when she was younger. “Whatever you do for your skin in your early 20s is really going to show up later in life.”

Twitter // @AppleTV

“So sunscreen twice a day is a really important part of our routine.” It’s also good to figure out what skincare methods work for you at an early age so that you’ll look just as young as Reese in your 40s!

Bianca Lawson – Born in 1979

Bianca Lawson’s youthful looks have helped her career, as it’s enabled her to play a high schooler in Pretty Little Liars despite the fact that she was 31 years old at the time. Now, at 43, Bianca is still looking just as young as ever!

Twitter // @TheOutakez

Her secret? “I’ve been using the same products since high school. I feel like the more you leave yourself alone, the better. […] Stick with what’s working and listen to your body.” Noted!

Helen Mirren – Born in 1945

Helen Mirren wants to change the way we view things. Given that she’s 77 years old and has seen what it’s all about, we’re inclined to listen to her. The first change Helen wants to make is how we talk about maturing. “[It’s] simple really: Getting older. It happens. Other people call it growing older, but I call it growing up.”

Twitter // @fancasxts

The second thing Mirren wants to alter is how we view beauty. “I think what is called the beauty industry should be called the swagger industry. We’re giving people swagger.”

Anna Faris – Born in 1976

Anna Faris has been open about having had some work done when she was younger. However, now that the actress is 46 years old, her perspective on her body has changed. “You know how in your 20s and 30s you think, ‘[Aging] must be so miserable?'”

Twitter // @Floridabab95

“But I don’t have as many hang-ups now. There’s a wonderful liberation.” With age comes confidence, and confidence is beautiful. So, why is society so convinced that aging is ugly?

Jane Fonda – Born in 1937

At 85 years old, Jane Fonda has had enough of society’s view on aging. “I want young people to stop being afraid about getting older. What matters isn’t age, isn’t that chronological number. What matters is your health.”

Twitter // @HGACinema

This sentiment is even more powerful when we bear in mind that Jane’s been suffering from health issues for years. Fonda has had both beauty and health simultaneously, and it’s clear which meant more to her. Maybe we should take her words seriously.

Lucy Liu – Born in 1968

Lucy Liu has been vocal about how her career — and being on outdoor sets all the time — have forced her to be more diligent in her skincare routine. It’s clear that what she’s doing is working, though, as the 54-year-old looks amazing!

Twitter // @Kevin10919728

“I have to be very rigorous about reapplying sunscreen and wearing a hat and handkerchief around my neck and chest, which are actually more sensitive to the sun than your face.” Is anyone else taking notes?

Salma Hayek – Born in 1966

56-year-old Salma Hayek proved that she doesn’t own a mirror when she said, ”I don’t think I am some hot tamale.” In more accurate statements, Salma said that she feels pressure to look a certain way because that’s “what’s expected for a woman who people consider good-looking. As you get older, you’re expected not to age.”

Twitter // @SheIsKnockedOut

The actress attributes her youthfulness to meditation, which she credits with the entirety of her well-being. While we think that’s a lot of power to give to one action, we can’t argue with the results!

Katie Holmes – Born in 1978

If you want to look like Katie Holmes at 44, the actress suggests adopting a skincare routine filled with hyaluronic acid and various face creams and serums. Katie is also extremely strict about taking her vitamins.

Facebook // Katie Holmes

Our body stops producing as many proteins as we need, such as collagen, as we age, so supplements are important. Holmes takes working out very seriously. “I exercise four times a week. Variety is key, or I get bored. I like Spinning, boxing, and yoga, and sometimes I’ll take a dance class.”

Tom Cruise – Born in 1962

Tom Cruise is still filming action movies at the age of 60, so he must be doing something right! The actor exercises regularly and eats healthily. Tom listing his workout activities sounds like a country club showing you everything they have to offer.

Twitter // @CinemaTweets1

“Sea kayaking, caving… fencing, treadmill, weights… climbing, hiking… jogging… I do a lot of different activities.” While we don’t all need to do each of those hobbies, picking up one or two of them will surely help with the anti-aging process.

Lenny Kravitz – Born in 1964

Lenny Kravitz proves that age is just a number by refusing to dress like a typical 58-year-old (because why should he?), and taking a jump rope with him when he travels, so he can get his exercise in.

Twitter // @voltronchris

We have to say, that sounds like a really fun way to get abs when in your 50s! “I’m very careful about what I put into my body and how I take care of my body. It’s a combination of eating all these things and working out.”

Thomas Brodie-Sangster – Born in 1990

Given that Thomas Brodie-Sangster has never looked his age, it’s not surprising that the actor still has a youthful glow at the age of 32. In fact, in Nanny McPhee, Thomas played a seven-year-old, but he was actually 14!

Reddit // u/therealboss1113

While he’s a filmmaker’s dream, as they can have the actor pull stunts an actual child can’t do, we regular folk are wondering what Brodie-Sangster’s secret is. “I don’t know. Erm, genes?” As unhelpful as that answer is, it’s fair enough.

Shay Mitchell – Born in 1987

Shay Mitchell is 35 years old, but you wouldn’t know it just by looking at her. We suspect that her healthy attitude towards fitness, and her desire to be a good role model for her children, help with her youthful appearance.

Twitter // @mefeater

Recently, Shay committed to working out for 30 minutes a day, five days a week. As for food, she’s careful not to give her kids a complex. “My food philosophy is everything in moderation. Truly, I’m not one who believes in diets.”

Avril Lavigne – Born in 1984

At 38 years old, Avril Lavigne still looks almost exactly the same as she did in her “Sk8er Boi” days. The singer insists that the secret is to drink a lot of green juice and adult beverages. Of course, if you’re a believer in the Melissa theory, then you know Avril’s real anti-aging trick.

Twitter // @PopCrave

The theory states that Lavigne passed away in the early 2000s and was replaced with a double named Melissa Vandella. Maybe Melissa is just a lot younger than the real Avril?

Jeff Goldblum – Born in 1952

Looking at Jeff Goldblum, you’d think he’s a middle-aged guy, right? Well, the actor is actually 70 years old! Jeff’s anti-aging tricks are a bit counter-intuitive as they involve refraining from cosmetic procedures and refusing to dye his gray hair.

Twitter // @ReekOShame

“I think when nature changes your face — especially if you live a clean life — your body is designed so it all looks right together. When you try to be youthful, it only makes you look older.” Look at a picture of Goldblum, then a photo of Madonna, and you’ll see what he means.

Gwyneth Paltrow – Born in 1972

We all know that Gwyneth Paltrow’s secrets to looking so good at the age of 50 involve a lot of Goop products that may or may not work. That being said, the actress also has her attitude to thank for her youthful glow. An attitude that’s free and definitely won’t have weird side effects!

Twitter // @Kevin10919728

“I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity.”

Shakira – Born in 1977

45-year-old Shakira knows that taking care of her skin will help her continue to look like she’s 10 years younger than she actually is. The singer uses “the highest SPF sunscreen I can find. I always avoid damage to my skin from the sun.”

Twitter // @XMPLMAG

“I also use a vitamin C serum before applying makeup to nourish my skin, along with lots of moisturizer.” It’s also worth noting that when she’s not on the red carpet, Shakira doesn’t mess with too much makeup and lets her skin rest.

Andrew Garfield – Born in 1983

Andrew Garfield’s youthful appearance allowed him to play his (arguably) breakout role of 18-year-old Peter Parker in Spiderman when he was 27 years old! Now that he’s 39, Andrew still gets to enjoy playing parts meant for much younger actors.

Twitter // @AndrewG_30_90

Most recently, Garfield starred in Tick, Tick… Boom! as Jonathan, who’s reaching 30, a role which scored the actor an Oscar nomination. Maybe when he’s 80, Andrew can finally start to play dad characters.

Jamie Chung – Born in 1983

Jamie Chung may not look like she’s 39 years old, but she understands that her body is still aging, despite the fact that it doesn’t appear that way. Therefore, the actress decided to freeze her eggs when she turned 35, a process that she shared with her fans to help them learn the importance of making such decisions.

Twitter // @TeleFashion

In 2021, Jamie became the proud mama of twins! Hopefully, her story has helped other women face the realities of aging that, although scary, shouldn’t be ignored.

Jared Leto – Born in 1971

51-year-old Jared Leto disappointed everyone when he was asked about his anti-acting secrets, and he replied, “I do have a good answer for that, but I probably won’t tell you.” His fans weren’t upset for too long, though, as Jared broke that promise in his next breath.

Twitter // @AdamNeumannsCoS

“I’m pretty healthy, so I think that helps a lot. […] 20 solid years of eating vegetarian/vegan and taking care of myself. That probably helps the preservation process.” You’re great at looking young, Jared, but not so great at keeping secrets.

Denzel Washington – Born in 1954

Turning 68 years old hasn’t slowed Denzel Washington down even one bit! The actor is still working in Hollywood and has managed to avoid getting typecast in ‘grandfather’ roles. Denzel knows to live life to the fullest, as the actor has said, “You’ll never see a U-Haul behind a hearse. You can’t take it with you.”

Twitter // @PopCrave

“When I turned 60, I looked in the mirror, I said, ‘You know, Denzel, this is not the dress rehearsal. This is life […] what are you going to do with what you have?’”

Sarah Hyland – Born in 1990

Sarah Hyland managed to play 16-year-old Haley on Modern Family even though she was already 19 years old at the time. Now, at 32, Sarah still looks just as young as ever!

Twitter // @sarahhylandbra

Hyland says she makes sure to always be “taking care of my body from the inside out. The best advice I’ve received is to not only focus on physical health or beauty but mental health as well. Also, lots of water.” There you have it!

Keanu Reeves – Born in 1964

Keanu Reeves looks so good at 58 — and looks so similar to people in random historical images — that ‘Keanu Reeves Is Immortal’ is often trending on Google. Keanu himself, though, insists that it’s not immortality that makes him immune to time, but his dedication to taking care of his body.

Reddit // u/Aussie_Meningitis

The actor first started becoming interested in fitness in 1991 when getting into shape for the movie Point Break. Now, he works with a personal fitness “guru” who’s been training him for over 25 years.

Rob Lowe – Born in 1964

Rob Lowe credits being fit, healthy, and youthful at the age of 58, to habits he created or dropped when he was younger. “When I was in my mid-20s, it was: I’ve got to stop drinking.”

Twitter // @JimKirkwoodJr

“Then it became: I need to find a workout that I love, following by starting to eat better, and cutting out things like sugar. […] Each year just requires a little bit more discipline and focus as I get older.”

Gwen Stefani – Born in 1969

As far as Gwen Stefani is concerned, her youthful appearance at 53 can be credited to her husband, Blake Shelton. “I look back over the past few years and look at pictures of when I first started kissing Blake, and I look the best I’ve ever looked in my life in those photos.”

Twitter // @sndaclitr

“Love must look good on me. I feel like that does show through — it really does.” So, if you want to age well, just go out and find your Blake!

Justin Hartley – Born in 1977

46-year-old Justin Hartley had the unique experience of seeing what he’ll look like when he’s older, as his character was aged on This Is Us. However, it seems that he’ll never see that version of himself in real life, as the actor simply doesn’t seem to be aging.

Twitter // @carmen167057816

Justin credits his famous physique and lack of middle-age-man gut to his diet and exercise routine. “If you can combine a sensible diet with a really good workout, you should be fine.”

Michael Cera – Born in 1988

Lately, the internet has been pointing out that 34-year-old Michael Cera doesn’t exactly age, he just gets less awkward. Or, perhaps it’s that we’re simply all used to his awkwardness by now. We probably see Michael as younger than he is because he’s extremely private and doesn’t share his life’s milestones with the public.

Twitter // @Fashionista_com

Add to that the fact that his best-known roles are those in which he played high schoolers (Superbad and Juno), and Cera is permanently young in our minds.

Anne Hathaway – Born in 1982

Fans are often surprised to learn that Anne Hathaway is 40 years old, since her skin tells a different story. According to her facialist, Anne is “incredibly disciplined when it comes to her skin.” The actress massages her face, exfoliates, cleanses, uses face masks, moisturizes, wears sunscreen, and exercises.

Twitter // @PopCrave

It may sound like a lot, but if you commit to a daily routine, getting that non-negotiable self-care time in isn’t too difficult. It’s most certainly worth it!

Justin Long – Born in 1978

Justin Long might be 44 years old now, but his youthfulness has been years in the making. The actor exercises, meditates, and goes to therapy to keep his mind as healthy as his body. Although Justin’s appearance hasn’t changed with age, his interests have.

Twitter // @TodayThatWas

Long is still acting but is mostly focused on his new podcast. As he writes in the Life Is Short podcast description, “Now that I’m getting older […] I want to peek inside the heads of real people to learn how they find meaning in life.”

Marisa Tomei – Born in 1964

Spiderman’s casting director got a lot of flak for choosing Marisa Tomei to portray Aunt May, as a lot of people thought the actress was inappropriately young for the role. However, Marisa was in her 50s, just like Aunt May!

Twitter // @Masquerade2376

Fans just didn’t realize that a now-58-year-old Tomei was right for the role, because she looks so much younger than she is. The actress mainly attributes aging well to eating healthy. Although she says that hiking, doing yoga, meditating, and detoxing with infrared saunas all help.

Chadwick Boseman – Born in 1976

Many fans were surprised to learn that Chadwick Boseman was 43 years old at the time of his passing, as the actor looked much younger. In a society that values looking youthful and shames those who age naturally, Chadwick serves as a reminder that looking aged isn’t a disease — it’s an honor.

Twitter // @Tribeca

Unfortunately, not everyone gets the opportunity to grow old. So, embrace every gray hair and love every wrinkle — they mean you’re still alive!

Paul Rudd – Born in 1969

53-year-old Paul Rudd is most definitely a vampire, but his anti-aging tips don’t involve drinking blood. The actor credits his appearance to keeping his skin healthy and refraining from a popular beauty trend.

Twitter // @Seanofthethread

“I’m not one for tanning. I used to be, back when I was rocking the Depeche Mode look. Honestly, I wear sunscreen not to prevent wrinkles but because I don’t want to get skin cancer.” Looking young and preventing illness? Yes, please!
