How to Make It
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup salted dry-roasted peanuts, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 tablespoons cacao nibs
- 1 tablespoon whole coriander seeds, roughly crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 3 tablespoons tahini, gently heated until pourable
Instructions:
- In a small skillet over low heat, toast the peanuts, sesame seeds, cacao nibs, and crushed coriander seeds stirring them occasionally to prevent burning. Continue toasting until they become aromatic and slightly darker in color, which should take approximately five minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and spread the mixture out on a small plate. Allow the mixture to cool down for about five minutes.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the toasted peanut mixture with the grated orange zest and kosher salt. This mix will be your dukkah.
- Take six serving bowls and place a half-cup scoop of vanilla ice cream into each.
- Drizzle each serving with a half tablespoon of the warmed tahini, ensuring it’s evenly distributed across. Sprinkle on some dukkah and enjoy your dessert!
