Super Nintendo World Has Already Pushed Back Its Opening Date Twice
Now, after pushing its opening date back in 2020 and once again in February 2021, the Super Nintendo World in Japan has announced that its new opening date will be March 18th. The statement was posted to its website and said that the theme park would debut as Universal Studios, Japan’s first multi-level land. There, fans will be able to visit both Bowser’s Castle and Peach’s Castle, which tower over the area. People will also enjoy Yoshi and Mario Kart-themed attractions and rides, as well as various shops, restaurants, and other experiences.
The Super Nintendo World Has Been Showing Its Many Attractions in Virtual Tours
During the advertising campaign for the Super Nintendo World, there were virtual tours for some of the attractions that can be found in the theme park, including Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. Apparently, visitors will be able to race their way to victory in iconic Mario Kart courses that will be just a part of the many interactive theme park rides that will be available. Guests to Universal Studios Japan will have to follow certain safety protocols to get in and enjoy the fun.

In a statement, the park announced that the health and safety of the guests and team members have always been and will continuously be the top priority at Universal Studios Japan. The company emphasized that they will be taking thorough sanitization enhancement measures, following all guidelines, and taking advice from medical experts and health care authorities. The Super Nintendo World will utilize timed entry tickets to make sure the number of guests present at a time is in manageable numbers. The park will also have other common and mandatory mandates to ensure the safety of its guests.
